Award winning fresh cream fudge

The Fudge Can was founded in Watford, Hertfordshire back in 2014 by owner, Director and life long fudge fanatic Joanne (Originally from St Neots, Cambridgeshire) and started life as a small charity stall in the town centre and as a part-time hobby/mission to bring 'proper' crumbly handmade fudge to fellow fudge fans.

The unique award-winning recipe and methods were developed after years of experimentation, failures and lots and lots of burnt saucepans!

The first batches of fudge were given as Christmas gifts back in December 2013 to friends, the feedback from those early batches was so positive and encouraging that The Fudge Can was born and registered as a food business.

The Fudge Can has a 5 star food hygiene rating which is still maintained to this day:)

Monthly markets at Hemel Old Town Market, Berkhamsted Craft Market and St Albans Farmers Market followed as well as the launch of thefudgecan.com in Spring 2015.

In 2015 and 2016 The Fudge Can was absolutely delighted to receive four great taste awards for 4 original recipe flavours:) Followed in 2019 by a 3 star smasher for Fresh Cream Caramel Latte Fudge.

 

In 2017 Founder Joanne moved with her young family back to Cambridgeshire, re-registered as a food business with the local authority and began trading at St Neots Farmers Market every fortnight in the historic market square, helped out by family members in all weathers!

Now in 2022 The Fudge Can has grown to trade on markets across 4 counties and through a growing number of local farm shops and delis on a mission to bring delicious award winning 'proper' handmade crumbly fudge to delight fudge fans everywhere.

We would not be here without our amazing friends, family and loyal customers and would like to say a huge THANK YOU for all of your loyal custom and support over the last few years (you know who you are).
